Average 6 month Insurance Premium
I was just curious to see what we all pay for our 6 month premuim.
Basic handy info would be, age , driving record and company. Also stating if you have an unusually large or small deductible or amount of coverage. I pay around $1000.00 Age 29 Perfect Driving record and credit. 500 CSL, $10K PIP, UM 300/300 Comp at $250 & Coll at $500 Rental car coverage 50/per day ($25) Gap coverage ($11) I thought this car would be less than my Evo or STI but it's most likely the cost of repair is higher and it is a two door.

Ok well that makes me feel slightly better. Rates out here must be higher for some reason.

Yea I have that on the Mustang. I will be daily driving the Z4 so that is not really an option.
And FYI I am an Aviation Insurance Broker......hence why I am slightly pissed about my rates....Will be investigating

Because of ONE ticket in 2008, I'm paying $230/mo with Progressive (RIP-OFF), despite having the HIGHEST level of deductions in Canada on my Canadian cars (43% discount, RoadStar Gold etc). No accidents in 15+yrs.
F**k that. I'm glad this thread was brought up. I'm heading down to Seattle again next week to sort out NEW insurance suggestions. Suggestions? |

1100 every six months.
Best coverage State Farm offers. 50$ deductible. 20 years old. Good grades. yada Clean record. Still under my rents plan though. It may help some that my aunt is an executive for State farm though.

those who've gotten a ticket, how much did ur insurance premiums go up by and how quickly was the increase reflected? makes it seem even more worthwhile to have an excellent radar detector.

^^^ No kidding. ONE ticket and your premiums double. I was told that it stays with you for 3 years too, but that should be confirmed by someone.
