Steering noise
I have a noise sometimes at low speeds, could it be the power steering pump? Sound like a whining seal. I checked the fluid and it is full. Thanks in advance

Plenty of leaks with the M steering, but no noise reports here. How many miles on the car? Tire size/width? Any reason you think it's steering? |

If you turn the steering all the way to the lock, and kind of bump it up against the lock, you'll hear the pump make sort of a strange noise. Its some sort of pressure release valve I think. If you're talking about a noise at other points in the steer travel, thats something else.
Could be your trombone tube is shot and there's some friction in the slide mechanism making a noise. |
