That crackling noise inside the headliner...

So I've searched back on a few threads but that scratchy crackling noise seemingly emanating from the front of my driver's side sun visor and inside the headliner...is there a definite fix for it. It's irritating the **** outta me and I'm prepare to drop the headliner if I have to, to effect a permanent fix. Does anyone out there have the definitive solution? TIA.

Not sure about the coupe, but my roadster has it bad.
The glue's come loose from the leather on the part that goes across the top of the windshield, where the visor sits against it.
The visor bumps up and down a little bit, causing the glue to adhere and then come unstuck.
Band-Aid solution: Fold a paper towel into a small square and stick it under the edge of the visor as a spacer.
Permanent solution: Remove the piece, peel back the leather, and glue the heck out of it.

And make sure you peel back and re-glue the whole piece.
My mistake, after the front edge came loose, was the gingerly peel back and re-glue just a bit.
The rest has since come slightly undone, and I've sealed off access to it.
I made the same mistake on the A-pillar covers.
