From the local weather forecast:

It looks like a large chunk of the island is going to be in for a snow storm tomorrow and Tuesday. It's still unclear as to how much snow will fall., but amounts could be significant. Some forecast models are showing 30-40 cm over a 36-hour period.

The snow begins tonight on the southwest coast and by noon tomorrow on the Avalon Peninsula. Winds will pick up throughout the day as well to cause blowing snow and reduced visibility.

For now, Environment Canada is predicting close to 30 cm for the south and southwest coasts, 25 cm for St.John's and the rest of the Avalon, 15 cm for the east coast and about 10 cm for west and central. However, the forecast period ends Monday evening and does not take into account what may come afterward. *

Torture!! It has been a long and miserable winter in Michigan as well. But, we are hyped for a mid 50's day tomorrow! Hopefully your weather will warm up soon.

Was going to go for drive today, but blowing about 40mph. Tomorrow when I go back to work it will be nice! We get on a pattern here in spring, beautiful mon-fri then turns to poop sat and sun. GRRRRRRR

I feel for you guys on the East coast. Mind you, although we don't have snow over here we've had shed loads of rain, and I don't do Z4ing with the roof up, so mine is still in storage

You don't like it but live in Canada. What can we do to help you move? Canada might not be a good spot for you.

already summer over here and not a drop of snow this year..... just damp..... been a really easy winter, the car is all ready to rock and i will start enjoying by this saturday :-)

Here in Winnipeg it was -25*C this morning.... Honestly, NONE of you have any idea how bad winter is until you've lived through the worst winter in over 100 years that we had this year. I don't feel bad for a single one of you. Not one.
