Updated Kw clubsports
Above is a pic of the rear shock with upgraded rebound adjustments. Is it me or will this not fit through our rear shock tower to allow me to make adjustments from the trunk? I do not want to make adjustment from the top of wheel well! |

They updated, this is the new rebound adjuster housing sitting on the shaft of the shock, if you want to call it housing. That purple disc is the rebound adjustment wheel sitting within that housing. I'll try and a take better pic of this

It looks to me that adjustment will be on the underside of the tower.

I prefer my older version but if I can do it again, I wouldn't go with KW Clubsport, I would go MCS or Moton the first time. Maybe next year! |

Hi All updated KW Clubsport owners. you just need to jack up the car and the adjustment procedure is so much easier than the previous way of adjustment from the trunk.
i repeat, just jack the car up from the rear and you're good to go. No need to remove any wheel |

Best thing it did was realize the situation before I tried to install. Needing a jack, impact gun/breaker bar, torque wrench, 17mm socket just to make a change in rear bump settings is crazy.
Glad I moved on. |

Does anyone already have hands on experience with this new rebound adjuster?
I know I can't get my hand far enough in the wheel well to reach the shock without jacking it up, but is this adjuster sturdy enough etc to cope with all the dirt? (is it still adjustable without lots of cleaning etc?) I've seen that the old adjuster (with the knob on top) can be reached from inside the cabin and also (barely) from the boot (I have a roadster), but does that knob stick out enough to rise above the plastic cover over the shock tower? (drilling a hole in it to stick the knob through)?

[personal opinion]I like the new style adjuster better, since I often swap between track rims and tires and street rims and tires. Set it to soft when I swap the street tires back, and set it to stiff when I swap for track brake pads and rims.[/personal opinion]
If anyone is concerned over the adjuster binding due to dust and dirt, I think you can slip the factory dust boot over that? Won't be as ideal as having the adjuster inside the car, but my engine bay gets plenty dirty and I have not had any issues with the adjusters on the top of the strut so far. But from a practical standpoint, especially on a kit that's labeled "club sport" I think this is a far more elegant design than having the adjuster INSIDE the car.
