I really like the look of that exhaust, reminds me of the "bubble" exhaust some Porsches have.

No, it doesn't sound exotic, and it sure as hell doesn't sound like an F430. It sounds just like a loudass inline 6, not very good. Kinda like the crappy RE Diablo I have on my car.

To each their own but I agree with you. I went with the Magnaflow setup. It muffles the "loudness" to a very deep tone. Way more bass than treble. Sounds like a well-engineered German car. If I want to make babies cry, I'd rather do it on my bike with the GP pipe than in my roadster. Gotta keep it classy.

Listen to a 430 scuderia or a Gallardo Superleggera in PERSON not driving at full honk and that's basically what it sounds like sorry. They have almost no exhaust restriction at all so at anything under 4500rpm they sound borderline awful.

That's not to say a 6cyl can sound like a V10. But the tonal quality is VERY similar.

^a 100% stock f430 or superleggera really doesn't anything exotic at low rpms, and the bassy tones are more subdued than the rpis. of course, as the revs climb, there's going to be marked tonal differences and this will be what distinguishes the true exotics from an aftermarket bolt-on muffler like the rpis.

still, definitely my favorite mod to date and has seriously grown a great deal on me since breaking my back to get my rpis installed perfectly.

Just have em welded into the midpipes, before the secondary cats. It's loud as piss and screamss. But then I can just cap em and she'll sound just like stock again if I get tired of it or go on road trips. Cost me under 100 bucks.

RE: Battery
I built an aluminum battery box and sunk it into the floorboard. There is just enough room behind the heat shield next to the drivers side muffler for a 21lb Braille. I use this battery because it has been reliable without keeping it on a trickle charger and saves a bunch of weight.

Amazing. I have the same battery and have been struggling to find a decent spot for it.

Thanks for sharing!
