Question Missing my M

Ok, so I've been in Germany since September 18th, and my M Roadster has been sitting all alone in my garage back in FL. Not driving it for close to 3 months has been absolute torture. I get back to FL on Friday, and I can't wait to take it for a spin. But time is just moving so slow this last week here.

Does anyone have any good driving videos of the Z4M (or even the regular Z4) that'll help pass the time until I get back?

Just go to the FFM Flughafen and rent the new Z4. I can't believe you are driving something nice over here!

I always enjoy the Top Gear comparo test:
. Some other good ones on You Tube as well. You should have shipped the M over so you could take it out on the autobahn

Here are some I like, hope there's one here you haven't already seen! Not all "M" videos, but Z4's nonetheless!

Talking

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I'm back in FL now and enjoying the pure bliss that is driving this car. Just wish the rain would stop, as the rear tires are a bit worn and I'm spinning all over the place.

I'll gladly trade your rain for the 40 cm (foot and a half) of snow that we got overnight here last night!!!

I totally agree with you, I've got a 3.0i and am missing it terribly. My car is going on the third week in the shop after having a VANOS problem. While it was there, the finally got the engine to "tick" on start up and went ahead with the fix. They are replacing the lifters which had to come from Germany. I stopped in this morning and they said that they should be through with the engine tomorrow and that they wanted to wait and drive it a little to make sure it was fixed. They also wanted to wait until Wed to start it and make sure the "ticking" was gone. Three weeks is a long time to wait, at least the loaner is a 335i which is fun but is not the Z4. Now if I can only unbolt the sport seats from the 335 and put them into my car before anyone notices.

That's why I live in Florida. I spent three weeks in BC during the winter and I didn't know that it got that cold. You do have my profound sympathy, I couldn't imagine being without my pride and joy for 5 months.

BC is Canada's Florida. In my best Crocodile Dundee voice "That ain't cold - where I live is cold!!"

Actually, my Z came from Florida in October. And I've visited Tampa and Orlando doing the tourist vacation thing a few times and always had a great holiday. I've been fortunate to always meet great folks there too. Enjoy your Z over the winter months while us northerners are shovelling snow!

Cheers!
