iPhone 3Gs Prep Kit
Does anyone have a prep kit installed for the iPhone 3Gs? I was at the dealer today and asked if I could have the kit installed in my 2006 Z4 3.0i. They couldn't find a part number for the 3Gs cradle. Anyone have one installed and happen to have the part number?

The iPhone 3Gs cradle won't fit in the Z4 as stock. I've heard someone talk about shaving some corners on the cradle, but I havn't seen pictures of it installed.
I think the SpeckDock from 2point5 is a MUCH better option. Basically replaces your ashtray with an iPod dock. I use it with my iPhone 3G. Charges the phone and plays music through an intravee II ipod adapter. |

I have the spec dock and have been very happy with it, but wanted the prep kit to take advantage of the antenna and having the phone in a secure place. Thanks for the reply

@rps: anything happen with this; i'm interseted in doing a cradle install for my 1st gen iPhone (that is if I ever buy my zed) and would love to hear if you found something.
