I wonder what ocha thinks about this. He was quite skeptical and did predict that the first turbo kit for the z4m would come from HPF......that was a good call....lol

My Z4M is in Orlando, I'm in Afghanistan for the next 4 months....if someone from AA wants to contact me, I can have the car shipped down there. Just needs to be ready by June, and the price has for me installed has to be right!

My only worry is that I have a 12 hour drive back to KY and the last thing I need this summer is for something to happen on the drive home, supercharger related....

The Prima kit doesn't seem like a bad price, but why is the stage one (looking at the E46 M3 prices) over $2K more expensive for just an intercooler and a different tune? I understand the added profit for a higher HP kit, but throw an intercooler on the Prima, up the boost, and get another 50 HP; then bump the pricing to around $7k (rather than $8700 on the M3). Seems to make quite a lot of business sense, as far as selling a high number of units, to offer a 500 HP kit for that little...

Sorry for the bump and hopefully it wasnt answered in another thread but I still dont see the prima kit for the Z4M on any site. Any updates?

Does anyone know if the e46m3 kit can be purchased and modified to fit? If so, what kind of modification is needed?

I think that TTFS is interested in doing the Prima Plus kit in house. If I had a NA Z4M, I'd be contacting them...

The Prima Plus kit is a TTFS-developed add on to the Prima kit. It's the Prima kit with the addition of methanol injection and an electronic bypass to dump boost should there be a problem with the meth. It nets around 500 whp, maybe high 400's depending on the car and dyno.

The Prima kit is the same thing, minus the additional electronic bypass and meth injection.

Ok, very interesting addition to the kit but why will it work for a e46m3 and not a z4m is my question. Would it be just the mounts and tune? Im saying the regular Prima kit, not the plus.

I talked with frank about doing this and I'm very serious about making it happen. It's a lot more work then you would think, and I would advise not doing it yourself if you were planning that. It would be a decent amount of custom components and fabrication to get it done.

Basically he is taking the blower and making a one off kit that fits. He will try to utilize the components the m3 kit has as much as he can and make custom what he can't. Keep in mind though, it will be retrofitted of sorts. Not that that is a bad thing, just that the fitment and finish of the kit isn't the number one thing in mind when doing something like this.

If you are local to md, I would say go for it!!
