Is it spring yet? (V810 content)
Planned on getting a set of Apex ARC-8's for my Z4MC from damn near the day I bought it but opted for a different look. A few months down the road and after looking into a multiple other (equally nice) options a member here posted these and it took a couple days to fall for them, but fall I did. It's winter here now and I don't have the rubber yet, but I was bored and couldn't leave them boxed up after picking them up yesterday so I decided to mess around and snap a few pictures.
First impressions are promising as they all look great with a brilliant finish. Both the VMR and OEM bmw caps fit snug, the weights seem accurate. Front 18x8.5 et35 (~20.5lbs) Rear 18x10 et25 (~21.5lbs)

Thanks for the comments, I'm sure most of you understand the pain of not being able to install new wheels on the car for a few months. I need to find a way to tuck the boxes away otherwise Im not sure how I can survive the winter when I can keep staring at them

Yup had them mounted for a while now, decided to do a winter wheel swap despite the temps outside.
18x8.5 et35 w/ 245/40-ZR18 Michelin PSS @ -1.50° camber, minor rub full left lock 18x10 et25 w/ 275/35-ZR18 Michelin PSS @ -1.00° camber, zero rubbing. Planning to return to stock camber soon, drives great in straight lines but I think stock would be better for hard corners when summer comes. |

Where are you rubbing up front? Inside or outside? If you're rubbing the outside then going back to less negative camber will make it worse. FWIW, I have 18x9 ET37 with wide-running 245/40/18 tires up front and I don't rub at all even during hard cornering at autocross. I added $5 camber washers so my camber is at -2.7* |

As far as I can tell it's rubbing on the inside front edge of the left tire against the little window for the headlight access. This seems to be an issue with the plastic liners on my car, I had identical problems when attempting to install 12.5mm spacers with the stock wheels/tire sizes.
I replaced my RTAB's and installed the limiter kit just before putting the new wheels on. When I had the alignment done I asked them to put it to stock specs in the rear and pull the pins up front to dial in max negative camber. I picked the car up and found they had decided to go against what I said and put the rear at -1* because they felt it would be better with the wide tires. I didn't have time that day to leave the car with them to correct it so I've kept it that way for a bit now. It handles great in straight lines (tramline's like a mother though), but I actually find the overly grippy straight lines makes it a bit less fun. I'd rather have the car set up for maximum cornering grip and the occasional wheelspin in the straights when I want it, so back to stock in the rear. I will be keeping the negative up front. They gave me the option to try it out for a bit and if I didn't like what they did I can return to get it adjusted, so I am planning to do just that next weekend. Here's my alignment sheet with before/after and stock reference.

I've been meaning grab pictures in the daytime soon, but at the moment I'm stuck with the car in pieces because of a water leak. As soon as I get the damn thing sealed up and re-assembled I'll head out to get some more.

Damn, I wish that it were spring. Pothole season here. Lots of blown tires and bent rims around here. My Z4 and M3 are staying in storage for another month.
