So I definitely was not crazy, I thought I rem normal timing being 18-22 midrange and 17-18 up top, in 90 degrees i was like 13-14 up top and a degree or two with the meth on. checked again tonight in 70 degree ambients with meth on and it was the 18-22 that I remembered (and felt like it).

I'm not crazy and not a placebo tard. Hurray.

I'm beginning to hate you. Nice addition. I guess with extra power and track visits, a brake upgrade would be a very good thing

Really a non option. I don't pussyfoot the car around the track like a lot of people, I drive it to its fullest. I was thinking about trying one weekend on the stock brakes but I go through a set of front pads in 3 hours or less and have no rear pad left. So I would have to buy like $800 worth of pads. so I just got the kit.

In the long run the thing will pay for itself just from saving on pads (and rotors actually).

What was the final price? You've almost talked me into this.

$5800 for 6/4
$5300 for 4/4

Let me know beforehand if you plan on getting them. My company can get them for you.

O-Cha

Sweet. You'll be able to run a lot deeper on the straights with your stoptechs.

After you've done a track day or two give us your impression of the stoptechs please.

I did two little tweaks today, one involved the brake booster the other involved the intake section.

Took the car out and I was hitting 6 indicated, now I'm hitting 7.5 easy! Thing pulled in fourth like crazy. It was cold out though, and though its counter intuitive (to turbochargers) you get more boost cold from a supercharger. Will be taking a video or two tomorrow during the day I think.

Oh and from w/e speed redline in fourth is I was slamming on the brakes, the stoptechs Fing SHINE here.

If it's installed well, yes.

It's very defendant on the installation, bad shop and the kit will have a lot of problems. Though there's less in this kit to screw up then some I've seen and they fixed a lot of the initial issues that a lot of shops would not catch.

I am really jealous! I think its time for you to move on to a new project O-Cha (perhaps the E92 in your avatar?), and of course part your car out to me at a discounted price! Kidding, but the car looks insane!

I hate the e9x m3 actually. I would drop the compression and build the internals on this WAY before ever considering one of those.

Then I think you need a new avatar! I agree, to me the M Coupe is gonna be the last BMW without too much tech and annoying crap loaded onto it!

I hate the e9x m3, I would build the s54 up more before ever doing that.
