Is there a way to adjust the pedals to be further apart?

This would be in regards to a 2006 Z4M Roady. I obviously love the car more than anything, so I'm surprised it has taken me this long to ask the question as it's pretty much the one thing that drives me nuts on this car. I wear a size 15 shoe, and sometimes it's very difficult (impossible) to not get my right foot stuck under the brake pedal when hitting the gas. As well, with some larger shoes I have, I hit the brake pedal while on the gas. I actually keep a pair of narrower shoes in the car just incase, as it's a "not so safe" feeling when this happens.

My question, is there anyway to move the brake pedal over further to the left? It looks like there is quite a bit of room between the brake and clutch pedal, so hopefully something can be adjusted? Please let me know when you have time, it's greatly appreciated!

The only way that comes to mind is to trim off a piece of the pedal (under the rubber) and install a set of alum. pedals on top in the position you want.

Ugh, OK thanks. This doesn't sound like something I want to deal with. I appreciate the help however, I guess I'll just keep living with it.

It really isn't too difficult to do.
There are several good pedal sets out there.

No I understand it would be easy, but it just doesn't look like that gives anymore room for the pedals. I need to move over the brake pedal to the left, there just isn't enough room. I also wouldn't want to use metal pedals, they'd probably scratch the hell out of my shoes. My feet are just too big.

I bet if you removed the pedals and found a local shop with a little skill, they would be able to cut/weld/bend your clutch and brake pedals so they notch over to the left by an inch or two. And they could add on any additional length needed as well so you don't lose anything.

I'm half tempted to do this myself because I've had similar feelings with me size 13's.

Interesting dilemma! I actually have the opposite problems. I purchased the Ultimate Pedals and moved them closer to help with me Heel-and-Toe shifting. Then again, i am only size 9.5!

They are a royal PITA to remove.
The clutch pedal arm is some sort of plastic, but there is an aftermarket replacement
