people.... try this. take a side shot of the car, change the color to black and change those wheels to your liking. It looked good in the other forum.. if the people with photoshop skills wants to lend us your expertise. It actually have the potential to look good from the side and back. Just gotta give more BMW character to the front. IMO

I don't think it's gonna be a Z...a retro M1 concept is kinda cool, but I think it needs some work...start with the wheels...those are
I never really understood the M1...It was kind of an awkward looking car then...and I think it still is. If BMW decides to drop a V10 in a MR chassis, it'll be bad ass car tho...

Those wheels and the double roundels on the trunk piss me off. Otherwise I kind of like the car

The double roundels just pay homage to the original M1.

Also, for those that have seen the M1 in person isn't it alot smaller than you expected.

I would buy it in alpine white and ditch the rims for some BBS RSGT's.
The orange and those rims are a definate no no for me. They ruin the look of the car.

There's an M1 here in town. I never knew it existed until my son was telling me about this cool BMW that he saw in some guys garage. Apparently, the guy was quite happy to talk about it and quite proud of it.
I love the look of the new one and would buy it and do nothing to it (well, i'd buy it if I could sell my family and organs). Maybe it'll be a classic in 30 years too.
