Anyone who has done any clutch changes on M
I am trying to figure out what input shaft the M transmission has.
Needs to be M specific, no SI, though it's basically the same they are not the same transmission and the input shaft is probably different. If anyone has a picture of either the input shaft or center spline of the clutch disk that would be cool, measurements would be even cooler. Even a spline count would be nice.

I finally found after an hour of searching every thread I have read on bimmerfest the member with the aftermarket clutch in his Z4MR! His name is "rcleme05" and his lists an "Mason Engineering Clutch" in his sig
Edit...I actually think he might be talking about the Mason Engineering clutch pedal not clutch

Why not just go the BMW dealer parts department is just look at all the different stock clutch discs?

They don't stock mz4 clutches, only clutches that they change often. But I'm about ready to just buy one.
