Lighting - not paint. IMO the car would look better with the amber pieces swapped out.

looks cool but it would look way better with bigger wheels sporting the same color. imho it looks too agressive for the size of the rims

about $150, because I already had the painting gun, compressor and masking parts... otherwise you can buy a kit and it'll run you about $300-$400 with everything you need to do it yourself.
I am planning to re-do it tomorrow dark navy blue with blue pearls to give it a more satin effect... I promise to take pictures!!!!

Would love to see a video of how this is done. Probably already on YouTube. I wouldn't do this to my Z, but I do think it looks pretty cool. It really makes the design lines pop, which you don't really get on my black Z.

Literally sprays the whole car in Plastidip including the windows and lights then cuts and peels them back with a blade. Stunning process and end result. |

I think your car looks great at that height. Very nice. However I would ditch the riced out tow hook from 1997.

They JUST introduced Navy Blue... and all I did was buy pearls to add to the navy blue + black mix
It's not a tow hook, it's a nose piercing LOL Its temporary until I find the will to buy a cover

Thank you
It does from time to time Gracias, sir... this was my first big scale plasti dip, after this one I've done a couple more cars, once you know what you're doing it's pretty straight forward.

The main difference is that the "paint" in gallons from dipyourcar.com are already thinned 1:1 with xylene, which makes the dip look smoother, cans, though, are not thinned

When it's time to peel this stuff off, are you pulling it out of cracks and crevices for months? I'm thinking of areas such as key holes, where body panels meet, etc. How long does it take to peel?

Just get a rag with goo gone and you will be fine... The goo gone makes it super thin so when you pass the rag everything comes off, even with edges or where body panels meet

I'm actually really interested in this, I'm in Seattle and I can't/dont want to tuck my car away for the winter and this seems like a good way to protect it.
