Convertable top

My top is showing it's age. Have anyone of you Z4 fans replaced your rag top. If so how much does it cost?

I think they are around $1500 from Tischer (www.getbmwparts.com).

But first, have you tried reconditioning the material with RaggTop or some similar product?
