it sounds like you use the same recipe for every cake. lol

i think volks wouldnt suit this car at all. not track-looking at all. and this isnt an update to a z4mc, it just a design project with zagato, not an M. how many zagato v12 vantages do you see parading the streets?

It looks more Italian than German - and its clear where our bias is on this forum. Its almost Maserati like and The detailing is a bit fussy for my tastes. But I feel the same about most Italian cars in pictures - when you view them in person, they have a unique character and terrific presence.

I've been looking at it for a day now trying to figure out how I feel and I don't think I like it.

The exercise works for me - but then I must admit to having always been a Zagato "double bubble" fan. They know coupes.
Another favorite - the Alpha Romeo 1900 Double Bubble.

I think it's better than the e89 ... trying to be more like the e86 (+++).

But I don't think, on balance, it works as harmoniously as the e86.

* On the e86, the double bubble roof just works ... seems completely natural.
* On the Zagato concept, the double bubble roof looks like someone has squashed a jelly bean.

I also think the shiny plastic rear may date quickly. Even though the interior is much the same as the e89, it looks so much better here in the black with red stitch.

It's a beautiful car and I wouldn't turn one away if it was offered to me.

Its too... busy. I went back and forth on this for the last few days. It just seems like they tried to incorporate too many design elements that, on their own are pretty good overall. But then they said screw it lets put them all in... dislike.

When I first saw it a week or so ago, I didn't know it was based on the current E89 platform and that the interior would be changed very little from the current Z4. This makes me wonder how they could justify a six-figure price tag for the Zagato version--especially if it uses the same engine you can get in a Z4! I thought this was going to be some fire-breathing turbo V-8 with 500+ hp. Give me a break.

Headlights need to be wider. Grills need to be wider and closer together.

I can't really see a BMW in the car... just a Pontiac with those gawd awful grills.
