Well very little update to the car but my trailer project is going well.
I bought this plastic box for 50$. It use to go in a pick-up truck but really like the shape that clears the fenders. I will put all my tools, jack, fluids, spares parts, ..., in that box for track days. It's just sitting on the trailer for the moment. I also start to fabricate the hitch for the M Coupe. Should be ready within 1-2 week. |

Forgot to mention that I bought a used 2007 Hyundai Sonata hidden hitch with all the wiring harness for 35$ on Kijiji to start my custom hitch.
I have a target of 500$ for the trailer, hitch, box and 48''x52'' aluminium checker plates platform with a box for the fuel jugs. |

Also got my Recaro Pole Position all leather (no suede insert) with aluminum side mounts and sliders. I will need floors mounts, I might do them myself.

Now imagine when you are on the wrong side of the border and have to pay custom fees for almost every parts you buy new or used from USA. You guys have no idea how almost everything is more expensive here in Canada. |

Those seats are beautiful. Good job on the trailer too, being able to haul your own tires + tools to the track is pretty awesome. So far the build is going great, I'm sure there's a lot more to come.

Sorry for all those crappy Iphone pics...
Here is pics of the engine bay right now. I really like the 3 struts paint in black with plastidip. I also remove the windwasher fluid reservoir to do the CSL headers and didn't reinstalled it. I already bypass the connector. I need to do an Aquapel or rainX now. Got some parts this week from Bimmerworld: Brass radiator bleeder screw Jaffster shift knob Also got PF01 track pads front/rear, oil cooler diverter valve, motorsport thermostat and AIM Solo lap timer I started to figure how to install my AIM Solo lap timer. So far, I routed the wire to the 12v connector but it will stay plug permantly because of the 3 gauges/gauge pod. I also need to figure how to fabricate a bracket and fix it behind the air duct or aluminum trim. |

Almost done with the trailer, painted the frame steel grey and the tire rack/fenders/wheels flat black. Next project will be the hitch.
I also buy a suction cup for the AIM Solo, I don't have time to do something custom. I just cut into the upper section of the vents to get the wire through the ducts. |

Nice meeting you last weekend Marc, Hope you'll get all the kinks out and and enjoy the car on track soon. You need to expect some difference... from what you had before. But try to remember how your M3 was before you stripped it from all unnecessary weight...
Your car looks great. Count me in for the hitch... at my own risk. I will be at LCMT tomorrow. |

I need to admit I was a bit disapointed with the speed I was (or wasn't) carrying out of the corners. The KW Clubsport are way softer than I expected... But I am pretty sure I will be able to have some fun with the car this summer. I just need to learn it and deal with the fact that it's a street car. On sunday, I was faster afetr adjusting the dampers properly. The Hankook V12 are not the greatest tires I tried but are correct to learn the car. I won't be there tomorrow at LCMT. I will be there next event with Viperclub at LCMT for sure |
