I used to pay $160ish for a 2008 civic Si when I used to live in north NJ.
Now I have the wife's Mazda 3s, the Z4m and apartment insurance (30k) for $131. a month. Everything is freak-en expensive in NJ. don't get me started on my last one bedroom apartment built in 1946 for $1100. |

I don't think anybody ever plans on getting in a wreck... unless they enjoy insurance fraud that is.

Well I'm with progressive and pay $35 a month for full coverage on the Z. Mind you I'm paying for 4 cars so the multiple car discount applies. Funny though as the most expensive car to insure for me is the mini cooper countryman all 4 at $67 a month. I'm in Illinois and am 32 years man those years keep creeping!

I'm at 80/month, but do a $1k deductible. I would keep it high...wouldn't go thru insurance if under $1000 anyway, so why keep such a low deductible? Make a claim and they'll ding you later.

This. 1k seems high but end of the day makes so much more sense.

- $500 Deduct for collision/$250 comp
- Full coverage - 27 years old with one speeding violation and one failure to control $65/Month....and I've kinda been annoyed at how high that was, now I just feel bad for you guys!
