FS: RPI exhaust

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
SOLD

My RPI are up for sale. (with some reluctance)
Need to have something a little more right seat compatible.

These include the optional silencer inserts from RPI ($60 cost)
Price is $795 USD plus shipping.

These are in excellent condition with less than 750 miles on them.

The back hangar is prepped for a DKF hanger (nut removed), will include proper size nut for OE hanger.
The tips are currently painted black, but will restore to original polished.
Buyer's choice.
I have done this before , so not a big deal. (see pic below)

..after previous restoration of polished tips. (your choice)
DKF hangers in pic are NOT included

..included in price; optional inserts.

...current pics just off the car

I guess these are no longer installed? I'd like to hear them and make sure I can handle the loudness.

So tempting as I've been looking for an exhaust as the OEMs are just too quiet for me but the Canadian $ is terrible, and to find a set being sold locally...

You should reach out to Daemonblitz to hear it in person. He has RPI's and I believe headers now too. He is in the Toronto area.

inTgr8r, what do you use to polish the tips? My inner tips have some carbon buildup, I'm wondering what the right polish/brush combo is to use on stainless.

I use Wenol polish(from Germany) for metals including stainless.
I have Wenol red which is more aggressive and Wenol blue which is a fine polish.

It's been a while since I bought these and don't recall off hand where I got it from.

holy crap that stuff is awesome! Tried the red today, the soot buildup just wiped off. Just ordered the blue as well.

Yeah, it's great stuff, I've been using it for years.
The nice thing is that it's non-abrasive.
I don't recall where I heard about it originally.
