Carbon leather, then traded for aluminum plus cash to pay for the paint job.

As weird as it is these are the most satisfying mods I've ever done to a car.

You're welcome! They should've come stock!

Yeah if you look through my previous posts over the years you will see I'm really into these little cosmetic mods too

Getting into more of the power mods recently,

The metal-trimmed knob do look great. Agreed that they should have come standard. Just picked them up today at Crevier for only $8.20 a piece (I can't believed I'm happy to be paying that much for a plastic knob) I also thank you for the part #

I may pick up the metal knob since I have a ZHP shift knob and random alu bits around the interior, but why is everyone so enamored by these things lol?

Trim though, as I've told you, looks GORGEOUS. If it wasnt so much maint, I might've swapped CF leather too haha

It's a small detail that makes a HUGE difference.

Thanks! Ya it's a pain to keep clean.

It's not swirls, it's the damn dust buildup since my windows are always down. As long as I quick detail it every 2 days it's good.

Great...when it works from more than 5 feet away...

hmm if swirling isnt the issue (center console really), I may consider this!

and I thought the oblong mirrors were supposed to work from much farther away than the oval mirrors limited 5ft lol, yet another mod I was considering

Center console issue is scratching. Swirls come from washing In a circular path, just be careful.

Haha good luck.

Ya he did a CF roof, but I wanted to use that pic to demonstrate In my "what if" targa top thread. I imagined putting a liner and attachment mechanism a la supra. But keeping the pillars intact.

Oval vs oblong mirror shapes. Oval has proper dimming feature location but oblong has better key range.
