z4 E85 - Transport Mode Need Help!

I have had my car go into Transport Mode several times because I drive it so rarely, (only 60k on 2007). I tried a Foxwell 530 and couldn't figure out how, in spite of emailing Tech Support... I then purchased a laptop and cable and INPA of Amazon. Did it there because didn't trust EBay, but that had a virus and to add to it I can't figure out how to load drivers on Windows 11 after countless frustrating hours. Today I searched and numerous people claimed to have reset Transport Mode with their Foxwell 510's, SO i bought one of those. Alas, I wasted another evening with no luck. I work out of town during week so taking to a shop is a pain and I was hoping to find a simple solution. Any advice is tremendously appreciated.

Do you keep your car on a battery tender while it’s parked for longer than a few days? I have 40,000 miles on my 2006 and use a tender.

Garage List
Transport mode is "supposed" to be permanently disabled as part of dealer prep ,prior to delivering the vehicle to the customer, though many times, it wasn't. Transport mode is meant to keep the battery healthy while the vehicle is being transported to its destination to some part of the world.
Don't know if it was laziness and or unskilled vehicle prep boys that didn't disable TM, smh.

Luckily, my vehicle has never gone into TM, I'm pretty sure it was permanently disabled at the dealer, though, from what I understand, a windows PC, obd cable and BMW Scanner 1.4 (PA Soft) can disable TM, so I'd look into that.

Mine has gone in to transport mode anytime the car sits without a battery or a charge. I actually just took mine out of transport mode with a Foxwell 510 a couple days ago. It is easier than pulling the laptop out and using software. I'll have to look when I get home to see where it is in the menus and I'll update this.

Foxwell tech support is useless.

Almost forgot about this... Glad you posted again.

Depending how old your 510 is or if you updated it the options can be different. I just updated mine yesterday and now have the second option.

Go in to

Service>Body>Transport mode>Delete Transport Mode

Or

Special Functions>6 Transport Mode>Delete Transport Mode

Hopefully that works for you.
