rattle coming from the rear
Hi guys
By way of introduction - I'm new AND from across the pond in the good old UK I've bought my dad's 3.0L and I am beginning to think he has sold me a right bad deal From all your vast experience do you know what this is: A rattle, i think comes from the rear. Increases with speed and I think it stops when I brake. Probably obviously to say its a brake issue and done a bit of a search but nothing really came up. Anyone had this before? Tim |

Is this a coupe? I had a terrible rattle at about 40MPH, it turned out to be the plastic trunk lining around the top of the trunk. BMW installed some nice fabric tape between the three pieces of plastic and some grease on the roller blind connector. That fixed it all!
