I love CarMax

I got my z4 from CarMax, and 2 other cars. Great company, great service. Pricing is fair. If you are looking for absolute rock bottom price and want to haggle, this is not your place. But if you are looking for a fair price for both the new car and your trade, and a nice easy transaction that takes minimal time and hassle, you will love it.

I had them search for a car for me. I told their system what I wanted and it sent me an email when they had one. It was in a different area of the ccountry so I had it transferred into my local CarMax. Took 2 days. Went to look at the car, loved it, bought it.

Great transaction. I intend to buy all my cars from CarMax from now on.

Another nice thing is that they have all kinds of cars. When I was looking for my Z4, I was able to compare directly with an S2000, Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, and other sporty 2 seaters.

Of course, not of them were comparible to the refinement of the z4

I helped a buddy of mine with his 350Z purchase @ the Carmax in DC last year. Transaction went very smoothly and relatively no pressure. Pricing was fair too.

If Carmax was available in my neck of the woods I'd consider doing business with them again.

When I was selling my Toyota Pick Up I went to the local Carmax and they made me an offer, I thought I could get more selling it on the street, it took a couple of weeks but I got about 2000 mor than they offered. I'm sure thier offer was in line with what another delarship would of offered. But they will buy on the spot. no hassle

i got my z4 from carmax in VA. it was about 5k below msrp and they put new OEM runflat tires on it. overall experience was great and salesmen were not pushy at all. if u ever go into a big carmax place there are rows and rows of sold cars awaiting pickup. you would almost think they were giving away cars.

one thing ive noticed on my z is that they didnt clean out the interior well. there was sticky residue on the center console and previous owner belongings in it. i found a motel room key in the map pocket behind the seat. they also said the car didnt come with an owners manual and i would have to order it from BMW and would be reimbursed by carmax. sure enough i found the complete owners manual package under the drivers seat.

Sold my 05 S4 to them and price was fair.
It is great place to go compare cars.
They have wide selection and eager to let you drive them without the sales pressure.
