Z4 Coupe 3.0L with 19" AC Alloys
Hi Everyone
Today i bought some 19" ACS alloys for my Z4 Coupe 3.0L, The origianal alloys were 17" and made it look underwheeled. The new ones are 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 rear Ill Post some better quality pics in the next few days, but for now this is what i took on my camera phone tomiht just after fittin them |

I know the pics are rubbish quality, ill post some taken with my SLR tomorrow.
I think the wheels look great and the ride quality is actually BETTER now i have ditched the Runflats I have still to put the AC Centre caps in, was too dark when i finished. It was between these and some CSLs on ebay i had seen for £1200. These won in the end cos ive never seen them on a Z4 yet |

Is that a beige interior I see? Don't see that much on dark cars!

Wrong tire sizes. I hope you meant you got 235/35/19 and 265/30/19.

Lol
Yes just checked tonight and they are 30 profiles on the rear, someone told me i had a flat at work today cos they look so thin. Has anyone put 20" wheels on a Z4, i think they would look too much personally but just curious |

I had H&R springs on my '04 3.0i and it was extremely low. They advertised a 1.5" drop and in reality it was more like 2.2" That car was slammed. I had zero finger witdh of gap at the back and 1 finger width at the front. I bottomed out every time I drove the car, almost everywhere I went.
I have TCK coilovers on my Z4M and there's about 1.5 finger widths front and back. If you're gonna lower your Z4, I recommend the Eibach springs. Less aggressive drop than the H&R's, but the ride quality is much better. And DO get Koni struts/shocks at the same time. It's more money up front but believe me it wil save you more money (for the 2nd install) because you will hate the ride quality with lowering springs and OEM struts/shocks almost immediately. The car will feel floaty and will feel like it's jumping back and forth coming to a stop (your head will bubble a lot) if you retain the OEM shocks.
