This thread is starting to read like a soap opera, not that I watch soap opera's.

I'm learning alot, (not being sarcastic).

On another note i had the tests done today. Leakdown test all cylinders 100% no leakage.

Compression test
Cyl 1. 160psi
Cyl 2. 150 psi
Cyl 3. 155 psi
Cyl 4. 150 psi
Cyl 5. 150 psi
Cyl 6. 150 psi

Ocha im not sure what stock psi is supposed to be and neither did my technician. Any info would be appreciated. Oh and does anybody know what bmw uses for stock spark plugs. I assumed bosch but the plugs i have are ngc.
compression numbers are solid, but there is no such thing as 100% no leakdown, so either the person that did it lied to you or doesn't know what they are doing (leakdowns actually pretty complicated)

While that is BMW spec, you can't use an absolute value comparison for compression tests, only thing you can do is compare between cylinders for variance.

Ocha. What exactly does a leakdown test entail. I watched him do it. He removed all coil packs and sparkplugs , he did every cylinder at top dead center and measures them with a pressure meter. The meter read 100% each cylinder

All engines have leakdown past the rings to an extent, sounds like the correct process though. The leakdown test measures the amount of air that leaves the cylinder. usually it's at least 5% with most gauge sets.

So the compression numbers are good. U still suggest that i get the test done again?

No, usually a compression test will show "bad" and then a leakdown is used to pinpoint. Since your compression is good it's likely you don't have any leaks.

So you can't add the absolute compression?

Is that a joke over calling it "absolute"?
