E86 vs E89 test drive

It's still annoying and ridiculous that the GT3 E89 has been kicking ass for years now, but still no consumer ///M. The E89 is much more prominent in motorsports than the E86 ever was.

The e89 is still quite beautiful though - especially the front (where the e85 looks a bit dated now - maybe b/c of the lights?). But that butt is not as pert as the 85's

I guess the designers wanted a more slk-esque vs boxter feel.

Yeah, that GT3 is awesome. BMW has lots of cache with that thing. They should have built a lightweight fixed roof M version. Thanks for sharing that video. Makes me appreciate my e86!
