Yes, when I replaced my 72 240 Z ( STILL FOR SALE ) master and slave a few years ago DIY, I realized that by adjusting the linkage to master, I could set the travel to engage/disengage the clutch quite easily. So I set it as far as I could, thus only depressing the clutch about 5-6 inches for full use. Took a little getting used to, but really loved this discovered self mod. My Z4M seems like there is soooo much useless travel. The Clutch Stop improves this, I'm going to make it even better by relocating the magnetic switch OR as InTgr8r suggests of " coding it out " a few previous posts ago. I may look to see if it is possible to change the linkage as I did in the Datsun.
Bottom line : SHORTER IS BETTER ! .... Never thought I'd be saying that
