Denver Brit..Im in Boulder here and would like to check out your setup in person. For the board I could work to get a side by side comparison of exhaust of our cars given that mine is in stock form

Dammmittt,
Have fun with the Polizei !!! And I am not sure, but I doubt the guys at Heidelberg vehicle inspection will let these fly. They gave me a hard time with my bike and I think these are louder than it was. But, they are very easily removed for inspection.

They can't be lounder than some of the idiots with straight pipes on their trucks and vettes and shit around here. And even if they give me crap at the inspection point, it looks easy enough to swap em out with OEM, pass inspection and swap em back out again.

So I have driven about 100 miles with the exhaust on and it has definitely quieted down a bit. It's still pretty loud but it is more of a bassy loud. It is like a subwoofer between 1-3k RPM's. My friend drove next to me today and said it isn't that loud so hopefully we all won't attract too much police attention haha.

Love the exhaust though. THANK YOU RPI!!

Looks good to me and I am very envious of the "open" road you guys have there. They look perfect for some spirited runs!

RPI - Exhuast NYC - This S**t is SIck

I love this exhuast, everything about is perfect. Thank you RPi and Eloy for making it

I received my exhaust this Tuesday, but my car was at the BMW service dept for an engine light. ( The good part is they gave me a 335 Xi STICK as a loaner, sweet car ).
Fortunately the car was ready, Wednesday at 5pm. Picked the car up after work, went to my local garage and they bolted it right on for me. It is definitely not a job that I could have done as quick but not, impossible to install. Especially, since I threw out the bolts that Eloy sent with the exhaust, but my mechanic Abe found the right bolts. Thanks to him, again.

Sound IS JUST PERFECT, loud at slow speed and as you get up to highway speed its quite unless u want to downshift to make it loud.

I may take the car to the track ( Monticello ) tomorrow so I will definitely post a vid and better quality pics.

Sorry for the pic quality they were taken on my iphone.

Eloy : Which software would you recommend now, to run with this exhaust and the RPi ram air scoop? ( ESS or Rpi ).

Wait, you guys got bolts? Hmm I didn't see any in the packaging. The only bolt I really had problems with was the outboard exhaust hanger. I just used a larger nut and 2 washers as a spacer so it wasn't a big deal.

You should have gotten 2 new bolts for the front hangers because the original bolts were too long. Mine were in a little plastic bag. Chuck I

BOth tunes are good but have different characteristics. The PC is more aggressive where the ESS has a smooth powerband.

Yep, as chuckI stated, there are 2 bolts in there (inside a plastic bag).
