Try a sweep with autotempest.com - it aggregates a whole bunch of the major listing sites. Good luck!

Looks like the pickings are VERY Slim. I was looking in a 75 mile radius and only found Five. Great miles on all of them, which had me asking this question. From 2006-2008 all the miles were under 61k which is Very Good. But why so low mileage?? It has me thinking that there are server issues with the car when individuals are trading it in. But then again that's my perception.

These are most likely a 2nd or 3rd car to most of us and therefore not everyone's daily driver, thus the low miles. I haven't had a single issue with my M Coupe and I only got slightly over 36k miles on my '08.

Interesting. I have some friends that have 5 or 6 cars that just sit so people can look at, or for him and her to look at. The way that I have always looked at it is in this way. Why buy a cay that you never drive??? Please, my intent is of no malice. If I were to buy a car that was 250k++, I would drive it everyday for that's why the car was built. Sure, I would also have a truck so that I can go food shopping....lol.

Autotrader has always worked best for me. 75 miles out is not enough for this car, you need to branch our your search to 300-500 miles, maybe farther. These aren't the most common cars in the world obviously, so you need a larger search area. Once you find one though, you will enjoy the car more than anything else you've ever driven. I'm on my second Z4M now and plan on driving it until it completely falls apart. No new BMW cars interest me in the least. The only other BMW I'd consider owning again is an 08 135i, I really liked mine and it was a monster with everything I did to it.

I have an 06 M Roadster which I bought used in 2009 with 9600 miles. It has 18,500 miles right now... I use my Tacoma a lot more. Afraid to take it to public lots. The reason you have a hard time finding the M's is very few were made during the entire 2006-08 period. There are only 3,042 MR's and 1,815 MC's. |

- X5 is more comfortable - X5 is more practical (big problem I had with the Z) - X5 is quieter (Z has aftermarket exhaust) - NO MORE CLUTCHING AND SHIFTING! Now when I take the Z out, it's as thrilling and visceral as the day I drove it off the lot, instead of being fucking annoyed with the loudness, shifting, and playing grocery Tetris. Not driving it every day has nothing to do with "preserving" it. It's still my track beast and I agree that cars are meant to be driven as they were intended, regardless of age or price. I would drive a $1M classic Ferrari at the track if I had the means to afford one in the first place.

Try eBay, Craigslist, Autotrader, cars.com, Z4mcoupebuyersguide.com
I sold my Z3 so my only car now is the Z4, which is my daily driver, and i'm not complaining |

Very Nice car, BJB. But I'm going to be looking for the Convertible. The only issue I have is that it's manual trans. I LOVE Manual trans, but living out here in LA it's always stop and go. Meaning that I would eat up that clutch big time.

Yep, I have looked at that as well. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Manual trans, because it gives me much more control on how and where I drive the car. I don't know if you ever been out here to LA or not. But it's the worse traffic in are Nation.

The si may be a good option although I personally did not like the electric steering rack as compared to the M's old school style rack. The si's motor is excellent though and you can get one for a lot less than an M. |
