Help me choose tires please!:-)

Hi,

Finally got my apex EC-7 for my z4m coupe. The car is supercharged and I have problems with traction on my supersports on oem wheels.

The ec-7 will be used on the track as well as some spirited driving. The car is on KW clubsport coilovers with camberplates.

Wheels are;
Front 18x9.5 et35 (concave profile 2)
Rear 18x10 et25 (concave profile 3)

I've used Toyo r888 some years ago and I loved them, and I would like to use R888 for this setup aswell.

I'm thinking 255/35/18 front and 275/35/18 rear.... Will I have problems?

I understand that I most likely will have to use 5mm spacers front along with some camber.

Best regards,
Greg

Rears you're definitely solid. No rubbing issues here.

Fronts I'm pretty sure you're alright. At FULL lock if you're not running enough camber you may see some rubbing, just depends on your Clubsport settings I would assume. Someone else might be able to speak more to that set up than I.

I have 255/35/18 fronts on OEM suspension with no rub. If you're lowered, you might have rub.

Front wheels are 18x9ET32.

I have the same wheels, and went with BF Goodrich Rivals, 275/35ZR-18 & 245/40ZR-18. I couldn't be happier. I use them on the street & autocross. They have quite a bit more grip than the PSS that were on before. Very predictable & very little wear. They look great, and offer very good rim protection.
