Question Noisy flywheel?

The flywheel is noisy at idle due to light weight? What kind of noise are you referring to, and why is the weight a factor?

Pretty much all light weight fly wheels have chatter. Search on this forum and on the others and you will find lots of posts about it. It is pretty standard.

Yup, if you're in lets say a drive through its more noticeable then at a stop light, but people who think they know what they're talking about and don't actually will make comments about it. Its funny to me!

As for weight, its less rotational mass that the engine has to turn.

I would be interested in a few things that are on the car depending on the price. Are you willing to part anything off the car, or are you going to try to sell it as-is?

Just want to let you know, the noise at idle is due to the supercharger, not necessarily the flywheel (could be making noise too). It's the rotors literally rattling because of the low frequency torque inputs. I have the same noise, as do all ESS Z4s and a lot of cars with twin screw superchargers with bypass valves in general. Beautiful car! You've got the interior I want.

No LSD?

Nice. So just for perspective that's a solid 20-30 more rwhp than a stock Z4M.
