Very erratic acceleration....

Started last night after spirited driving...
now the clutch has been fading out and i will change it out but i dont understand why between 3 - 4 1/2 k rpm there is a huge stutter on the accelaration....in neutral its fine but as soon as i engage the clutch weak pulls and stutters....so i imagine that once i do my oem clutch replacement this will go away....
i will scan the computer to see if there are codes....
i dont think its anything major.
the idle is very smooth and stable btw
anyone else experience this?

I wouldn't drive it until you find out what it is. My dad just fried an engine because the fuel pump couldn't keep up with the demand.

Pedal unit might be at fault...but i still think its got somthing to do with the fuel filter....
i squeezed like 1/4 bottle of the injector cleaner stuff and it ran perfect for a whole 10 mins....might be time to replace the fuel filter...

Fuel filter is internal to the fuel tank. It can be replaced but not easy..

The procedures and diagrams are on my site if you don't have the TIS.

If your clutch is going out and slipping that means your flywheel is starting to warp that's what that shuttering is all about. I just had to replace a clutch on my civic and went cheap and didn't do the flywheel as well and that's what I experience now. It's really not gonna harm anything, but isn't that pleasant to drive that way. I would just buy an aftermarket clutch kit with a flywheel instead of OEM if you are out of your warranty.
