ditto - too many of them leave the gaping hole look. Can't say a front lip splitter is high on my priority list, but this one is looking pretty nice. I like how it's a little more subtle that some of the other ones that look like they stick forward 6 inches. Nice contour to match the car. It's moving up my list....

I agree, except IMO, it would look good if it was set back just a bit instead of completely flush.

props for some great work on this Nikki!

Thanks! As for the design, if it is set back it creates an air pocket, so for aerodynamic reasons it should be flush.

I am getting the APR lip and if this lip ends up being made I will most likely buy a fiberglass one and paint it white and then have the carbon APR splitter underneath it. It would be very similar to a bunch of set-ups I have seen on club racing BMWs

Not worried about ripping this off on the street as you will be "kissing" the ground on a static stance most likely?

Nikki,

Great work, thanks for the addition. This is the best splitter I've seen to date, love the way it fills the middle of the bumper.

I was just thinking...have you two considered a "skid plate" of some type on the under surface of the splitter? Could use a hard rubber of plastic piece to protect the splitter and thus the bumper. I would think if you did this, it would be the only splitter on the market to truly serve two functions.

Just a thought, but regardless, great work, I'm interested.

Thanks, yea that is a good idea, we can definitely have a skid plate as an option.

Also, yeah the APR splitter underneath would probably work, although I'm not sure about it's daily practicality...would need some testing. The first one we're making is fiberglass and I think it will look great painted body color. I'm also thinking a cf one with the middle painted and the edge left cf will look good. There's definitely a lot of possibilities for customization.

Is there anyway that you can fab this one in flexible urethane or hard rubber and moulded in black color. so ppl will not need to paint unless they want them bodycolored. AND no need to worry about chipping the paint or cracking the paint since it is moulded in black and super flexible.

The apr splitter is very thin so I don't think it would add alot to the bottom of this lip.

Flexible urethane or rubber would be a different process, but we will be offering the lip in fiberglass with a black gel coat so it won't need to be painted unless you want to color match it.

Just an update, we smoothed out all the minor imperfections and prepped it so it's ready for the mould. I'll have some pics of the process within the next week.
