Spacers on z4m stock wheels
Hi, I want to flush out my wheel well slightly and have a set of 10mill spacers from my old bmw I figure with stock wheels and tires will easily fit on the front. But what about the rear? I run my stock rear rim with 275/35 series and not sure if ill fit in 10 mills without scrubbing...
Anyone have any feedback on this? I could also go for 7.5 all around or even 5 mills... But I would like to see ten...

You'll need a stud kit or extended lug bolts. I have a stud kit for sale if you're interested, 75mm, will take up to a 15mm spacer:

I can confirm that 12mm works on rear, and likely 15mm on front.

10mm works rather well with 75mm studs.

Z4M stock rear wheel is 18 x 9 ET30
My rear wheel is 18 x 10 ET25 , with 275/35, no rub. Your 10mm spacer on stock wheel will effectively make ~ ET20, your 275 tire would have stick out 5mm more than mine but the 9" rim squeeze the 275 more than my 10" wheel, so net may be the same as mine. |

Currently on stock wheels (painted graphite metallic with matte clear) and stock tire sizes .... 15mm front and 12mm rear H&R spacers... basically flush with no rub.
Effective offset = F 8 et27 R 9 et18 Mine on left - stock version on right Last edited by scrammer; 06-07-2017 at 06:10 PM.. |

Here is a post of mine with shitty pics where I went from no spacer, to 15 in the back and none in the front to 20mm in the back and 15mm in the front. Kind of gives youu an idea of the difference?? Read all the way down as my follow up is where I changed them again a few posts down.

Make certain the spacers are sitting flush against the hub. The 10 mm spacers are right at the height of the hubcentric projection on the OEM hub, and the tolerances can leave a couple thousandths gap between the back of the spacer and the hub. With this condition the hub on the spacer can fracture and separate from the spacer.
