Where to put stereo controller?

I've pulled the trigger on an Audison system, including Bit Play & Bit 10 units that will be hidden away. But there is a controller, about 4" wide, which I cannot for the life of me decide where to mount. Any thoughts?

Not sure how tall the controller is, but that looks like it's wide enough to fit where the cup holder plate goes (if you deleted your cup holder). If you're using your cup holder, though, then that's a different story.

That was my first thought, too.

No one is using their cup holder.
At least, not for long.

I actually like the cup holder (once I figured out it is adjustable)

I mounted with velcro the controller for my JBL MS-8 on the inside of the fold down storage compartment door. It was a little bit of a pain accessing it there in the early days when I wanted to fiddle with it (eyes totally off the road, couldn't use it while car was in motion).

Do tell about what else you've done system wise.

The installer ended up putting it to the right of the DSC/Tire pressure buttons, nestled in behind the ashtray. Actually a pretty good spot for it. It is a full Audison system, 2 way with sub. They've been working on the car for over 3 weeks (was out of the country for a good part of it, so don't mind). Some time waiting for some parts. Had to return what they thought was a faulty Bit Play. Now they're having a hard time programming and getting everything to work. They have no experience with the Play, and the literature is poor. They spent yesterday on the phone with tech support and got a lot of it to work I think. They suggested feeding the video to the navigation screen, which is apparently possible with some sort of adapter. I really hope they can get the whole thing working, because it cost a fortune. I'll post a full write up if/when they get it all working.
