This is imo an essential mod for a track or fast road driven z4m....

The competition units were the exact right choice for this car/ powerout imo.... after a good workout i no longer detect the vibrations or resonance.... the drivetrain feel is night and day!!! awesome items!!! ill refresh them with new inserts after 20k miles...
Got these installed and just got back from a test drive.
Like Beedub says.... WOOOOOOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!!!
These mounts are fantastic! (regular mounts)
Absolutely no additional NVH

A much more connected feel to the drivetrain and a BIG improvement with shifting.
Downshifting 3rd to 2nd is like a dream come true
I can't believe how silky smooth it is now.
These mounts have convinced me our z4m shift issues are at least 70% mount related....... Difference has to be felt to be believed !!

Ping Colin, he's the US distributor:

Colin Greene
colin@greeneperformance.com
949-282-9399

I had my motor mounts in less then a week and didn't have to pay shipping from the UK.

Garage List
It sounds like most guys are opting for the street version rather than race, but it's not clear to me which is which.

Parts mentioned on their website:

BMW360M
BMW362MX

Also, there's a UK source and a US distributor mentioned, where did the other Canadians order from?

M is road
MX is competition

I ordered mine (& Caddy's) in the original GB from UK before the USA distributor was in the picture.

Thanks Ian!

Is there other work that's good/convenient to do when these are installed?

If you haven't done the tranny mounts, they would be a good thing to do.
....

Also, (meant to post this before)
A word of caution for those installing themselves.
Be VERY careful jacking up the engine.
There are several cast aluminum parts (oil sump etc)
DO NOT jack up the engine on these parts.
Cast aluminum is very easy to crack.

Maybe I missed it just lurking the thread lately, but does this company make tranny mounts too, and it so, anyone have them on as well?

Awesome! These are really a game changer when it comes to how the car feels, how connected the drive train is huge.

How do you compare this to the fcabs you recently installed?

is there ANY NVH at any certain RPMs??? I've got the AKG with 2500 miles on them now and the only time (other than high revs on the track, which is fine) is at 2500 it's pretty vibraty (new word!), but nothing that would warrant removing them.
