Getting More Weight In The Steering

So with no engineering or mechanical background I ask the question, is there any way to make the electronically assisted steering feel heavier?

I have a 2003 3.0i Z4 with no options so there is no 'sport' button equipped on my car, which as I understand does exactly what i'm asking. However even if it's possible I'd rather not have a sport button. I do love the handling of the car however I've gotten used to hydraulic BMW steering and miss the extra weight. Before anyone suggests, if I could afford a Z4 M, i'd have one lol

Any input is appreciated, thanks!
