I think its awesome. I'd keep the wood too. Looks really nice.

Might have a tough time keeping the leather clean though...

I would replace the wood with carbon leather.

I think the combo ( minus the wood ) is very good. It is also rare, and will hold value in my opinion.

So, yes I would buy this combo and replace the wood trim first thing.

Surprisingly that leather color is not hard at all to keep clean.

What color is the car in the OP? Is it Sepang that's just catching the light funny? It almost looks purple...

Love the color combo, love the wood.

Have an 07 interlagos with same interior, wish my door panels were extended leather too!

Light seats work, even more so in the coupe to take some of the "confined space" effect away.

Thought I'd hate the wood, but this is REAL wood people, not the JUNK that most car mfg's put in their cars!

I had the exact same interior as the first post, with extended leather, color combo and wood trim.

I hated the wood trim so i wrapped it in carbon leather and it looks awesome.

I think it's gorgeous as-is. Wood and all. Very unique and classy combo.

Totally disagree on the wood and think you are nuts for wanting to change it because it is gorgeous, but everyone has their tastes. At least live with it for a while. If you have not seen wood in person then you have nothing to say about it.

Otherwise, I really like Sepang (both inside and out). I tried really hard to buy a coupe in that color, but the dealership that had it was smoking somthing when they priced it. Rare does not equal valuable.

hey when I buy it, and someone wants to swap their carbon leather for it, I'm in.

I had wood in my old 3.0, but it had a black interior, so it matched well

carbon leather was a must when I was shopping
I had it in my roadster and loved it, so no way I was settling for something else with the coupe.

I got lucky though, the very first car I looked at had all my points covered and at the right price.

Looks goood.

Did you do this yourself? If so, what kind of adhesive did you use?

Yep i did it my self. The hardest part is getting the piece around the shifter/armrest out. You need to take apart everything in the middle of the car then undo about 100 tiny torx screws.

Most use the 3m spray adhesive. But i just went with the cheaper Oz version which was just call "spray adhesive". 3m + alternatives should be on the shelf at most auto places.
