Anyone interested on ceramic coating exhaust system

This would include headers, middle section pipe, X pipe, and maybe mufflers.

I can work a very good deal with JET-HOT for a 2000F flat black coating what would reduce 30% to 45% of engine bay radiant heat and speed the exhaust process significantly.

"JET-HOT will normally boost power when applied to headers for two reasons. First, the coating promotes denser, more potent fuel/air charges by insulating the engine bay from exhaust heat. At the same time, it accelerates the pulsed-vacuum effect on “tuned” headers, resulting in more effective scavenging of cylinders. The increased velocity of exhaust gases produced by higher exit inertia not only clears each cylinder more quickly; it also draws in the next fuel/air charge more efficiently."

I have experience with this before and I can tell you that does work very well, also since the diameter of our exhaust system is not of the best increasing speed of exhaust is a must.

The normal cost for something of this quality and proportion would be around 1200$ but I can have a good $ cut out of this price if 10 people would be interested.

Jet hot is good stuff. I did it to my turbo exhaust manifold on my old car. Great stuff I will definitely have my headers jethotted once I find the funds...

If it is a package they would make sure that would have a lower time frame to do it and ship it back, so that equal less time to have the car stopped. also the price would be in only one invoice from them to my company with a good discount to all, and I would share a copy of the invoice with everyone that got on the deal so everyone knows how much you are really paying for.

In my setup I will have AA headers, Custom SS modified middle section pipe and straight pipes to the muffler also modified race eissmann. what would increase even more the speed of the exhaust.

This all should give quite a boost in power.

Yes, but the only good results came from exhaust with diameter under 2 1/2" for 6 cylinder. so the pressure inside the pipe is higher and speed is possible do to higher temperatures and higher pressure inside exhaust.

All the gains that I had opportunity to observe was a full exhaust including mufflers and no cats.

with Headers only I had not observed any improvement and also no much gains with the ones with straight pipes (no Mufflers).

and in my opinion after see the results (Bad results) a very bad idea if you have ceramic cats and or cats with more then 200 CEL what usually caused the exhaust to fail miserably.

A good gain would come from Headers, middle section, and x-pipes with mufflers.

The mufflers only will be done with exterior coating.

I don't have any copy of the results as I was only able to observe them live.

I will use a 100 CEL cats before the mufflers because it will be the only place with an acceptable temperature and that way I may be able to pass emissions when the car is driven above 6K rpm for a hour or so. (not guaranteed tho, but very possible).

I was able to pass with my 2008 Honda si modified that way in CA on 2008.

Just came across some reading material http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles...ngs/index.html

and it reenforce my observation that for the headers alone the hp gain is not noticeable but still offer advantage over not coated ones.

So we need 10 people is anyone else that would be interested on this real improvement?
The cost will be very acceptable.
