+1 on this but I do get the rattle inside once in a while. God forbid I have some change or keys laying around in the car.

Well, we're going to have to do more info finding then. There's nothing confidential about this - here's the verbatim email response I got from Turner:

"We unfortunately do not have any first hand experience with a customer here in the shop having these installed. I don’t even think I can recall a customer ordering them, nevermind having success on a MZ4. I want to say that they will not work without some involve “massaging”. I am sorry that I cannot be of more help.

They don't even know if these headers will fit - well, at least the guy that responded to me didn't have a clue....

On a scale of 1-10, how bad/annoying is this rattle and what rpm range does it appear? If you were to buy an exhaust for your z4m today, would you get them again?

I loved the el diablos on my e46m3. From all the you tube vids, they definitely sound more distinctive than the Remus/ss/and eiesman

The rattle is annoying but can it be prevented? absolutely yes. Just get the loose change out of the car. would I buy it again, I would say 90% yes. I am really looking forward to hearing RPI's in person and make my decision. I think Diablos hit the sweet spot in regards to sound and cost. Other nice ones are way too expensive and I think RPi's which cost similar are way louder. You won't regret going with the diablos

I wish.

Just got mine today, and will give them some more time to break in or whatever, but the drone is awful. It's right between 1800-2200 RPMs for me, and I know it's going to piss off the neighbors. I don't have this rattle you speak of though.

This is the beak-in period and won't stay long. Drive it hard for a couple of days and it will mellow out. Mines mellowed out so much (or I got used to them) that I barely notice them anymore. But please give them a week at least before making any decisions. and congrats!

^nickyc, give them a bit of time, i'd the same reservations (my rpi's droned so much and were excessively boomy in the low rev band) but it got progressively much better, and i've grown to love them. as per sho-one's question, and in objectively considering the pros and cons, i would absolutely 100% purchase the rpi's again
