vanity......and me......

so my right rear quarter panel and lower rocker panel have a few scraps and dents on the seam where the two panels meet.....

there is no way im fixing that shit with bondo no matter how tiny the imperfection..... ive become more fastidious about doing things right to the point where i buy new body panels whenever i have any body imperfection from these DUMBASS NYC drivers......

I wonder if this is just vanity and that maybe I should be more credulous to bodyshops and their ability to fix my cars appearance to factory perfection.....

on my first car which was my daily, i was really OCD about keeping it pristine but i gave up. it's just impossible (and too costly) to maintain that upkeep. with the z, luckily it only sees weekends even then it picks up its nicks here and there. it's just too tough in the city, and ironically it's worse to leave it a parking garage as opposed to street parking. those garage attendants park by feel which is bs. i've seen it with my own eyes and the guy was shocked that i was bothered, as if what he was doing was standard practice.

get your bumper badger, throw on some clearbra on the front, and hope for the best. or accept the fact it's going to happen and get a respray every 1-2 years lol.
