asc/tsc/brake/traction lights, errors from ista

Just picked up a cheap z4, had a bunch of error lights I was hoping would be an easy fix, I noticed the right rear wheel speed sensor harness was ripped off.

Got the car home, Wired up the wheel speed sensor, yellow/black to white on sensor, and yellow/brown to black on sensor.

Tested wheel speed in ista-d and it shows all wheels are working now however I'm still getting these errors after clearing .

0051AD No message, receiver EGS, transmitter DSC
005DC0 DSC: Wheel-speed sensor: supply, rear right.

And after a test drive this one gets added to the mix

002F4F DME: Vehicle Speed, plausibility

anyone have any suggestions?

Either the abs sensor or the reluctor ring?

You have a plausibility issue.
So it sees something that doesnt add up, and that might be intermittent.
Have you physically checked the reluctor rings? Do they have rust?

Might also still be the wiring.

No have not checked the ring, the wires were all cut so I went straight after that as the source I'm gonna run to the junkyard and pickup a female connector, I wish I knew for sure what the pinouts are on the car side of the connector

you can look up all the wiring data (pinouts, colours etc) in bmw wds.

that site has never worked for me, ista-d has the diagrams too but it does not tell you which side of a connector the + or - is on

I think it does show the + side?

This is how it should look like:
http://docdro.id/qZa2gC5

For the rear right sensor, the yellow black is the plus (probably 5V) and is located on pin 2 of connector x377

WDS has a steep learning curve, but pretty much everything is in there.

To get it to work you have to install java and maybe add the url to the security exeption list (not sure about that)

anyone know if modules from similar year 3's and 5's work in z4?

Mine has a complete 34516778490 and module 34526778492 both only show interchanging on realoem with 2004-2008 z4's

my car has a 06/2006 build date

this stupid code has a fault mileage of 25k miles ago, it refuses to clear with ista-d do these module have permanent faults like the airbag ones?

all fixed, pulled parts off a junkyard car and rewired the car side of the connectors. Installed new wheel sensor and no more error.
