Random question and P/N Request (Wire Running Behind Rear Bumper)

Does anyone know what the p/n is for this wire (circled) that feeds into left license plate light? Also I’m assuming this wire begins/ends where the red square is, ie it’s not one giant harness? I managed to mess up with one of the clips for the wire a while back and used electric tape as a fix but now the left bulb randomly goes on / off. It seems easier to just replace the wire if possible.

(Thanks to EAS for the picture)

if it's the connector at the lamp, replacement parts are available...

61.13.8.365.340 Qty 1 (connector)
61.13.0.005.199 Qty 2 (wire length w/ pin)
you'll also need some butt-end connectors to splice these into the harness.

if it's the whole harness you're looking for, i believe it is...

61.12.9.119.186 Qty 1

Thanks. That harness is expensive, I'll just order a new connector.

FYI this is the clip that got fudged

You can replace the clip without butt connectors. See my thread on LED conversion where I attached a DIY on post #17 but it is in German. There are plenty of pictures at each step.

Wow can't believe I missed that thread, this is the perfect mod!

So going off the pictures from the German DIY, just take apart stock plug, get to the 2 wires. Install new plug and new plate light?

That is correct. Very easy mod. You can use google translate if you are not sure. The plugs and LED light is around $30.

The brightness on these lights are just right for me. OEM fitment and cheaper than aftermarket. Let me know how it works for you.
