Gas mileage, share

car is 08 z4m coupe
I do 5/5 city and highway
average is 12.5-14L/100KM
I don't drive that hard, just once in a while.
I think there is something wrong???

my 08 335xi (AT) did 11.5-12.5L/100KM

06 z4m roadster (unmodified so far)
I get around 16L/100km around the city (spirited driving)
I get around 10L/100km on the highway

I'd figure ~13L/100km is pretty reasonable for spirited driving. Doesn't sound like you are far off the norm IMO.

03 2.5i manual
I drive like a granny
Always keep my rpm below 2k while city cruising
Dashboard gas mileage stays 9.4L/100km
But actual filling at gas station is around 10.5L/100km

Not sure if anyone has the same problem with dashboard under rated the MPG

(worth replying just for the chance to use L/100km)

Anyway, Z4 coupe non-M typically gets between 7-8 L/100km (usually around 8 in my typical mix of 80% freeway driving - only gets down to 7 on long steady cruises with minimal city driving). Most of my freeway driving is in 6th typically around 3000 rpm (~130 kph).

These are actual numbers calculated when filling up - I too have found that the dash computer's estimate of fuel economy is a bit optimistic.

I have a Z4 3.0i and get fairly decent mileage (about 29.6 Avg UK MPG or 9.5 Avg L/100km)

But I believe the Z4M gets lower than mine.

OK. Deal me in.
About 75% stop and go traffic punctuated by 25% foot to the floor screaming up to 100 mph.
18.8 mpg = 12.5L/100km.

I don't think the OP has anything wrong.

that sounds about right, I get around 11 l/100km in my 3.0 around town etc. On the track, it's diff story, but who's counting on those days, huh? Last track day one of the guys with an MC was running out to refuel from the nearby gas station at every session break. FWIW I'm getting about 18 l/100km in my S4

Can we measure per tank? all these per litre per km, I dont get a clear picture of it.

I usually do about 400~430 mixed between highway and local traffic stop and go. (more in city driving as I work in downtown and drive).

Daily driver. 75/25 hwy/city.

18-19mpg. Had it at 21.6 for a week once, but had zero fun.

I'm metric challenged. Sorry.

yeah that's roughly what I get with the Zed if I use gas without ethanol. with ethanol I'm at about 360-390 per tank, hence the reason why i don't use it
