Torque settings

Need the torque setting for the cam cover nuts on the s54 engine cover, the chrome ones. Also the nuts that attach the oem strut brace to the brackets. Not the brackets to the strut top. Cheers guys. Also where I can find the torque settings in the future.

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/

Drill down to the repair section for your vehicle, drill into the repair instruction articles, and tightening torque is linked in the article. For example, engine cover nut:

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...th-lid/C22Frad

It doesn't even bother to say how much. Just says remove.

Strut to strut bracket:

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...onents/C1HStF2

Clicking on the link for 51 71 4AZ yield 41Nm.

There's a convenient search field if you know what you're looking for.

They don't overtly direct you to this, but as you go through the TIS if there isn't a specific torque specified for a given fastener, then you default to the generic torque value for the size of the fastener. It seems like they could have easily linked to the page in each of the TIS sections, but they chose not to.
