3.0i Sport tires are staggered but are the factory wheels?!
So I decided to change the tires on my 3.0i (w/ Sport option) and my factory tire sizes were Rear- 255/35/18 and Front - 225/40/18, respectively.
Are the factory wheels (Style 107) different in width themselves? The reason why I'm asking is that when they were mounting the new tires, they had to move my rims to clear some garage space for another car and may have mixed them up (front to rear, left to right, right to left, etc). My concern is the front tires are on the rear wheel now, etc. Is there anyway to check the width of the rim (markings? etc?) without having to take the rubber off the wheel? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks! |

Fronts are 8" wide, offset 47
Rears are 8.5" wide, offset 50 You can check without taking the rubber off, on the inside of the rim itself, specifically on the spokes the offset as well as the width of the rim are both displayed in this format (8JX18 and 81/2JX18) and offsets are written as (ET:47 and ET:50) |
