I did this mod and it is GREAT! Takes 15 minutes to put in if you are anal and want to hide everything and works super awesome. Went from the weakest light I ever saw to the best lit trunk I ever owned. I can see me doing this for every car I ever own with a trunk again.

Mine are still going strong after 3-1/2 years, and my car sits in SoCal Sun all day every day.
You can bake bread in the trunk in the summer. SuperBrightLEDs FTW!!
