Not the same thing.
Those are bolts at the block that back out. (#3 & 10 in pic)
These are what mount motor to frame. (#4)

^ I can, but it will be a while before these get installed.
I don't do much with the car in the winter.

awesome..... anyone at all gone for the competition mounts??

Even the street ones look like they'd give a signficant increase in NVH due to the billet body, thats surely got to make a difference.

Here are some quotes from an M3 Forum member that recently installed their mounts:

also did my tranny fluid today! oem LT2 fluid.

the labor as far as putting mounts in was theeee worst for the passenger side! ill never DIY motor mounts again....did it before on my 330 its definetlya pain!
the full job took soo long i even broke my overflow line for my expansion tank! its soo cheap and horribly made! had to rig something up until i can buy a new one!
i did have to remove my sways.

and my OEM mounts werent shot to crap either!

did the driver side with the bar on barely and the passenger side..it just wasnt gonna happen! took the bar off and like 3 hours later it was in!

idk why but my motor had almost noo leeway....process was just a PITA total tim was about 8 hours.

and im very great mechanically! so its not that at all.....if you have a losee motor your gooddd

OVERAL:i could not imagine me going another route!

the next test is how long they will last!
They are starting to get their mounts over there! I'll let you guys know what others think of them. That's two people that rave about the mounts, maybe I'll have to cash in some favors to get these while they are on sale.

im half tempted to stick the competition ones in...... if the street ones are sooo comfy, are they actually offering a stiffer mount or a prettier one???? im not saying i WANT extra NVH BUt.... surely if the mount is stiffer this would be a bi-product....... im glad to be getting 2 pairs for testing, im going to be brave and do the competitions ones i think.

The guys at Vibra-Technics will probably try to talk you out of the race set. The street set is more stiff than the OE mounts, yet offer less NVH. I'm saying this from what I've read. I don't have these mounts...yet. Either way you go, it should be an extra $60 to get the other rubber insert (either street or race). So it's pretty cheap to change (minus the time it takes to install and replace).

i have 2 sets coming :-) one race, one road :-) ill call phil on wednesday and have a detailed conversation but as of the comments ive read,, its the competition mounts I'm interested in. i'll be putting those in first :-) Even more so as my stock mounts only have 11k miles, im guessing the stiffer ones will maybe help the transmission mounts even more??

100% going to put the comp ones in first after what ive read, the road ones seems to close to the stock mounts.....

update, email conversation came to a head today, phil asked me to call tomorrow morning, i will be getting Both road and race sets of mounts by friday :-)
i will be installing the Race one first to get an ideal of how severe they are, i want to jump straight into these are i can see these will offer the "greatest" difference.....
i'm hoping they wont turn the car into a vibrating annoyance as id prefer to have the stiffer Race units on the car....

now looking at the compression charts for both mounts, the curve is very similar albeit, higher up the graph, i think the competition mounts should in theory Still be able more than DDable....

Also Re the cross member, as i dont want to drop my car off for months on end, im going to strip out the stock one off my car and drop it off, ill push phil and ask if i can do this sooner rather than later as the car is sat doing nothing....

anyone got a picture of the stock part?? i can remember off hand what it looks like :-)
