I've got the AFE intake and scoop. Like zeddy said, sounds mean and makes more power. No dyno to prove it, just my butt and some highway pulls with friends.

I have seen several articles like this where the K&N lose power...that is why I bought the BMC. If could not have bought the BMC, I would have bought the AFE b/c the oil they use wont trash the MAF. I wonder if the K&N would fare better with software?

There isn't any significant HP gain ( if any ) without additional mods like an ESS Tune & headers... I just want one more for sound / looks.
